A visit to Nilai Memorial Park

We were in Nilai Memorial Park on March 20, 2008. This is one of earlier and the most beautiful memorial park in Malaysia.

You may want to ask whether the feng shui is good or bad?

If you are a feng shui enthusiast, you would know that we would not be answering this question by saying yes or no. It will be in relation to the plot of land you selected. Feng shui is very individual. You will have to tell us which ploy you selected then we will tell you whether it is good for you or not. Since you will be spending a few thousand ringgit to buy a plot of land, you might as well spend some money to do the selection. Feng shui is about location, timing and you.

Nilai Memorial Park is situated just 30 minutes away from Kuala Lumpur. It is surrounded by lush natural greenery, the Park successfully combines the best of oriental traditions and architecture with western planning and design.

When I was a journalist, the founder, the late Dato Choo Ching Hwa, used to tell the media about his dream to build a memorial park. He and his team have visited many memorial parks all over the world. He told us about his experience in Philippine. He said the Chinese there like to play majong in their ancestors’ tombs where the tombs were beautiful designed.

Nilai Memorial Park is Dato Choo’s dream and it is his dream comes true.

When I met Dato Choo, he was MCA’s treasurer general.
