Feng Shui Travel Tips --- by Adrian James

Feng Shui Travel Tips by Adrian James

How can you preserve excellent feng shui while on the road away from home for extended periods?

It’s crucial to know that you affect the energy of the area as much as the energy of the area affects you. So, taking note of your inner feng shui is vital especially while you do not have the security of your home to reassure you.

Good inner feng shui means being absolutely mindful of maintaining excellent personal energy levels at all times, watching your feelings and emotions and constantly choosing to stay on the cheerful and "feel good" side of things. Some spaces you might discover yourself in might have very high energy, and some might have poor feng shui. If fortune is on your side, you will have to waste very little time in rooms, or homes with bad feng shui.

The number one level of excellent feng shui is personal cleanliness on the physical level. You know, a clean area versus an area that looks clean but has all the unwanted items stuffed in closets, basements or under the beds and coffee tables. That rarely works, as you cannot fool your Chi, or energy. So, a physically clean area is the number one obvious choice - having it clean and keeping it clean. If you have to come up with a decision between renting different properties, look for purity and freshness as the absolute must, not just for pretty decor.

After you have a more or less clean foundation, you can continuously create excellent energy with a small "feng shui on-the-go" assortment of items. These would be items that help cleanse your energy, as well as keep up first-rate energy around you.

• Carrying one or two small crystals is always a sound idea while away from home. Clear quartz and rose quartz are exceptional choices. Black tourmaline for protection or kyanite for balancing work well. Do not forget to purify your crystals from time to time. You can incorporate the crystals subtly as chi laden jewelry/body feng shui, or by carrying small mixed crystals in your pockets.

• Essential oils you like the most are forever an excellent "feng shui on-the-go" tool. Carrying lavender oil to refresh your energy during the day is a great way to travel. Lavender also has strong shielding properties. Explore numerous essential oils to see which scents strengthen your energy field the most.

• Burning or smudging incense is a wonderful idea for any room but, you might not maintain the ability to do that while travelling. However, an air spray with a high-quality essential oils mix would work well to quickly pick up the energy of the room.

• Stay safe by sussing out the energy around you and avoiding the bad areas. A place can look pretty but have treacherous energies or bad feng shui still. The only way to access this information is with your gut feelings or intuition. Does it feel good or doesn't it? Do not let your mind interfere for the first few seconds and you will perceive things that might be hidden and not particularly obvious about the feng shui of any space.

• Next, learn as much as you can about beneficial feng shui basics before going away and you will quickly know which spaces would be better for you: From the energy of spaces close to the water to the energy of houses on a cul-de-sac.

• If you are traveling with your partner and worry about maintaining the strength of your loving relationship, it is continuously a beneficial idea to keep with you a small photo of your most enjoyable and loving moments together. The photo can be part of your "feng shui on-the-go" package and help keep up the positive energy and smooth your communication as needed. Bon voyage - safe travels!

Marshal Cohen, chief analyst with the market research firm NPD Group, says, "Companies realize that using color is a way to add incentive." Harness the incentive by using ColorAlchemy in every aspect of the business world.

The power of red

When faced with looming deadlines and huge projects worth a lot of money, employers will want to utilize the power of red. Red helps employees to adopt the "Go out and get 'em" attitude required to make the business grow. It helps them to roll up their sleeves and get the job done in a timely, yet productive fashion. Outline job proposals and lists of potential clients in red as inspiration.

Orange is for creativity

Orange is the color of creativity. Surround the board room with orange when having brainstorming sessions about projects to be completed and business expansion ideas.

Yellow is for self-confidence

Self-confidence and the "Yes we can!" attitude is paramount to a successful business. When having meetings to rally excitement and to share how wonderful everyone is, surround the area in yellow. Post quotes of success in conspicuous places, on a yellow background. Yellow is the color that allows for confidence and commitment, as well as a sense of personal power.

Green can scratch your back

An important facet of the business world that is often overshadowed is a sense of compassion. Reinforce those professional business relationships and a sense of "You scratch my back, and I'll scratch yours" by implementing the power of green. Submit letters to other professionals on a green-printed letterhead or sign documents with a green pen.

Blue is for your mission

Remind employees of the company's mission statement by printing it in blue ink or posting it on a blue background. Blue generates clear direction and purpose. Use blue to send out memos to ensure clearer communication. Use blue in the break room to relieve employee stress.

Indigo for important decision

Indigo expands inner intuition, upon which many successful businesses rely. When faced with important decisions, take a moment to close eyes and visualize the color indigo, to engage that gut feeling.

Violet for connectivity

Violet can inspire organizational connectivity and the personal satisfaction of employees. Take time to address each employee's successes and positive attributes, using the color violet.

Call upon the color traits whenever they are required. Use them to maximize the potential of the business and to harness the power of a cohesive staff.

Everyday is a difference colour

Monday(red),Tuesday(orange),Wednesday(yellow),Thursday(Green),
Friday(Blue),Saturday(Indigo),Sunday(Violet)

Color can also be used to schedule meetings and due dates. Post a calendar with important dates written in the color of the day. The days of the week follow the natural rainbow and the momentum of the work week: Monday is red, Tuesday is orange, Wednesday is yellow, etc.
